Diane Zile, CEO and Founder

Diane Zile is a passionate, experienced leader who most recently held the role of Chief People Officer at OtterBox, a company frequently recognized for their engaging culture and innovative people practices. Previously, Diane co-founded the strategic business consultancy Whole Strategies. She has held senior leadership roles at McStain Neighborhoods and Level 3 Communications and has more than 25 years of strategic leadership experience at Fortune 500 companies, including YUM! Brands and Macy’s. Diane has led teams and organizations (McStain Neighborhoods and OtterBox) to attain “Top 10” state and national recognition for being “Great Places to Work”.

Diane graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Towson University and received her Master of Science from Johns Hopkins University. She is certified in the Paterson StratOp and LifePlan processes which were used extensively during her tenure at OtterBox to drive exponential growth and success. Diane is also certified in the Emergenetics®, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) assessments that are used to improve team dynamics and maximize effectiveness. Diane has completed the ACTP Transformational Coaching Program with Blue Mesa Group.

Diane speaks nationally on the topics of organizational culture and employee engagement. She is passionate about theatre and the arts as well giving back to the community and serves on the board of the Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company as well as the Denver/Boulder Better Business Bureau Foundation and Hunger Free Colorado. Diane also Chairs the WiseWomen Council within The Leadership Investment organization of Denver. She enjoys traveling with her husband David and hiking in the foothills and mountains of Colorado with their pups, Hilo, Kahu & Kailua.
